Shawn's Trip to the Market

There is a big indoor/outdoor market in our city.  Here are some of Shawn's pictures from today's shopping trip to the market...

This is the Candy Stand lady.



These are called rocket candies.

These are berries and cranberries; those look like magoes and bananas.

These are some spicy spicy spices.

This is a fire hose in case of huge fires.  You pull on the handle, take off the lid and spread water on the flame until it's out.

This is some very big cheese; the biggest cheese you have ever seen!

This is a stack of hay.

This means Organic.

This is a big blog kind of squash.

This is called salty cheese.

This is dead squid.

This is a real crab.  This one has its eye poked out.

These are dead fish.

This is called shrimp.

This is a real alive lobster.  One of its parts is alive.

Shawn Visits the Gastronomic Fair

Each year, our town in France hosts a giant Food Fair, where you can watch how foods are made, taste foods from all over Europe, see the latest in kitchen appliances and decorations, and check out the candy stand.

Shawn's Vacation: "Fondue"

The first country Shawn's family visited on their recent vacation is mentioned in this video.  Listen hard and you will hear Shawn say the name and tell you about the country.

(You will also hear his little sister ask Shawn's Mommy for milk over and over again.  Sorry about that!)

The Tower of London

The Tower of London is a castle Shawn visited before we even arrived in France.  It is in London, England, and it is made of many different buildings and towers.  It is sooooo big that we only had time to visit one area, the White Tower.

Shawn discovered some very interesting things that we did not see in the castles we visited in Scotland, and that we have not seen since...
